Each engagement with a client generally involves the following steps;

- An initial design consultation where concepts and requirements are discussed and fabric samples examined.

- Having agreed the general design and fabric, a personalized pattern is created, and from that a 'Toile' (prototype) dress is produced.

- At a second consultation, the Toile is fitted and relevant adjustments are carried out.  Embroidery, which is generally hand finished, is completed.

- At the third consultation, the garment is mostly complete and last minute adjustments are made.

Overall, the process may take up to two-three months depending upon the detail required.
